The Logistic Company Bäumle in Dormagen, Germany has again decided to purchase Gardner Denver DRUM XK 18-5 compressor units for their new dry bulk vehicles.
A significant number of the market leading XK18 compressors already exist in the Baumle vehicle fleet and the practical experiences with these machines is very good. As a result, it was an easy decision to order XK`s again. The compressors will be delivered by Gardner Denver in Senden.
Mr. Ron Ploumen, branch manager of Bäumle Dormagen, stated several crucial reasons for making this decision. These include the high air capacity of the XK 18 which results in faster unloading times and therefore lower fuel usage and in turn lower operating costs.
Additional key points are the compact dimensions allowing for simple installations, the low weight and low maintenance costs of the machine. To complement this Gardner Denver has a wide and well-established European wide service network provided by its own subsidiaries and partner workshops offering excellent aftermarket support.
The Transport Company Bäumle was founded in 1900 and is headquartered in Murg, Germany. In addition to the locations in Dormagen and Weil, the company owns three more locations in Switzerland.
